REMSCHEID, Germany — August 13, 2020 — For over a year now, China has been producing the biggest network for cationic dyeable yarns with tremendous results. With a potential of 600 tons of POY filament yarn every day, the project immediately catapults the machine operator to the pinnacle of cutting-edge producers: the well-known Chinese yarn maker has high-quality items.

The addition in the melt allows a more efficient and competitive extraction of dye, which implies that this particular form of yarn requires relatively less water during the dyeing phase and thus produces less waste from the atmosphere. Thanks to (chemical-) alteration of the polymer, the fibers or filaments score points because of the lower temperatures needed in the dyeing phase, thus generating consistently brilliant dyeing results. The substance with its incredibly bright , vibrant colors, is beautifully stunning. Excellent manufacturing properties – with incredibly low energy usage and substantially decreased CO2 pollution at the same time – guarantee a high degree of performance for this renewable commodity.

The large potential and the lower manufacturing costs associated with the direct spinning cycle render the yarn significantly more desirable than the development processes used to date for more processing. It unlocks a modern, larger window of use for cationic dyeable yarn.
