On Wednesday, the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) announced that its CEO, Amina Razvi, will be departing the renowned industry sustainability initiative on December 29th.

The coalition, which has been under scrutiny due to a greenwashing controversy surrounding its widely utilized suite of sustainability tools, has not yet disclosed who will succeed Razvi as the executive leader.

Razvi, who played a pivotal role in guiding the organization through the challenging greenwashing debacle, will remain actively engaged with the board and global team until the end of the year to facilitate a seamless transition, according to SAC officials.
