Reliance Spinning Mills Ltd. has recently announced the expansion of its spinning capacity through the acquisition of state-of-the-art LMW smart series preparatory machines for its Airjet Spinning project. RSML, established in 1994, is the largest spinning mill in Nepal, specializing in the manufacturing of various yarns. With a total installed capacity of 79,824 spindles in 6 ring spinning units and 25 Airjet Spinning machines, RSML produces an impressive 3300+ tonnes of yarn every month.
The partnership between RSML and LMW dates back to the establishment of the first unit in 1994, which was equipped with LMW machinery. This initial collaboration proved to be immensely beneficial, leading to lower production costs and a quick return on investment. Since then, RSML has expanded its operations, with a total of 6 ring spinning units entirely furnished by LMW machinery.
In the year 2021, RSML ventured into the Airjet yarn segment and commissioned their 7th unit with 10 Airjet spinning machines, all equipped with LMW preparatory machines. Encouraged by the success of this expansion, RSML recently established their 8th unit with 15 more Airjet spinning machines, further increasing their spinning capacity. The newly commissioned Unit 8 operates with LMW smart series machines for preparatory processes. This advanced unit is designed to process polyester/cotton blends and 100% polyester yarns. The machines installed include Automated Bale plucker LA23/S, Varioclean LB9/2, Unimix LB7/4, Supremoclean LB10/2 for the Gentle Blowroom Line, Card LC361, Non-Auto leveler Draw frame LDB3, Lap former LH 20S, Comber LK69, and Auto leveler Draw frame LDF3.
According to Ashwani Mittal, the CEO of RSML Nepal, LMW machines offer unparalleled technical advancements, consistently delivering high-quality yarn at high production rates. The automated blending solution, Auto-Blend LA10, enables the accurate blending of different materials, reducing the need for manual intervention and increasing efficiency.
