Allcargo Logistics appoints Sushil Kumar Rathi as Director – Supply Chain to drive growth in contract logistics

Mumbai, 26 June, 2023: Allcargo Logistics Limited, India’s largest integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions provider, has appointed Sushil Kumar Rathi as Director – Supply Chain, Allcargo Supply Chain (wholly owned subsidiary of Allcargo Logistics Limited) In this role, Sushil will be responsible for large contracts acquisition, procurement of warehouses, procurement of transportation and growth of contract logistics business.

Sushil’s appointment is in line with the group’s strategy to strengthen mid and senior level capabilities through lateral hiring. The group aims to further strengthen its leadership team by on-boarding CXOs in key positions to drive value-led growth.

Sushil brings in four decades of diversified experience in sales and distribution, marketing, channel management, supply chain management, procurement and business and IT consulting. Before joining Allcargo Logistics, he worked with Mahindra Logistics Limited as Chief Operating Officer, Supply Chain Business. He is credited for developing auto outbound, e-commerce and express logistics business of the company. He also serves on the boards of Welspun One Logistics Parks Private Limited and Welspun One Logistics Parks Development Management Private Limited as independent director.

A thought leader and a regular industry speaker at various Industry forums, Sushil won the prestigious Platinum award for innovation in the business model for developing innovative  business practices. He has also been honoured with Supply Chain Visionary of the Year award by  Express Logistics & Supply Chain Leadership Awards. Mr Rathi will report to Mr Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari- Managing Director, Allcargo Supply Chain.
