Burmatex has unveiled Snowfall, a ground-breaking carpet tile that blends modern style with environmental awareness. Snowfall, which offers a novel take on sustainable home design, is inspired by the beautiful, flowing patterns made by snowfall and uses Thrive Matter yarn by Universal Fibers, the world’s first carbon-negative recycled yarn.
Thrive matter is widely acknowledged as the most ecologically conscious high-performance nylon fiber that is solution-dyed. The Snowfall carpet tile, when combined with Burmatex’s BioBase recycled backing, is carbon-neutral and raises the bar for environmentally friendly interior design options.
Snowfall is available in a broad range of 16 well-chosen colors, from bright peaches and icy blues to neutral tones and contemporary greens. These tones are ideal for modern workstations that strike a balance between design and utility because they are influenced by the beauty of winter landscapes.
The cooperative effort was highlighted by Universal Fibers Vice President of European Sales and Marketing Anna Plumb, who said, “Snowfall demonstrates the power of close partnerships.” By fusing our knowledge of yarn with Burmatex’s design philosophy, we are able to provide a sustainable product with superior performance and design, all while reducing embodied carbon.
