Considering the grave situation of Coronavirus outbreak, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co, Ltd, has decided to postpone the scheduled 17th Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery exhibition (DTG). The fair will now be held from June 11-14 at The International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka.
Coronavirus outbreak has become a serious health hazard worldwide. As such World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the outbreak as a global health emergency.
All states have taken lot of steps to prevent Coronavirus for the better interest of their nationals and Bangladesh is not an exception. BTMA had discussed the issue with highest authority in Bangladesh about holding of the DTG exhibition, which was earlier to be held from February 20-23 at ICCB. But it was advised not to hold the said exhibition in February 2020 due to prevailing situation.
