By combining the structure of OE yarn with Excel fiber—which has greater strength and whiteness—Bila Cellulose offers a novel way to maximize waste utilization and lessen dependency on virgin cotton. With this discovery, OE yarn now has more options in high-end uses like denim and home textiles.

Birla Excel is now being used by spinning mills in India to create blends of soft wastes and recycled cotton. These blends produce OE regenerated yarn in count ranges of 6 to 34.
