BIRKENSTOCK & ADERERROR COLLABORATE ON SPECIALIZED, FUNCTIONAL FOOTWEAR COLLECTION

BIRKENSTOCK, the iconic German footwear brand and inventor of the footbed with a family tradition in shoemaking of almost 250 years and South Korean fashion brand ADERERROR are pleased to announce their brand-new product collaboration. ADERERROR layers its own creative vision over four of BIRKENSTOCK’s timeless footwear styles. The limited- edition range of unisex styles is intended for all-day wear and all occasions, to be worn by any individual who appreciates quality, comfort, and technical details. The BIRKENSTOCK x ADERERROR collection is made in Germany with a unique, anatomically shaped footbed.

The partnership between BIRKENSTOCK and ADERERROR takes creative cues from snow sports, more specifically the technical features of ski boots. The ratchet closure found on BIRKENSTOCK’s Gizeh, Arizona, and Milano models is inspired by the ADERERROR slogan “But near missed things,” a phrase that reflects ADERERROR’s fondness for unfamiliar and unique details. The fourth model, BIRKENSTOCK’s robust A630 PU Clog remains faithful to its original design and acts to compliment the three open-toed styles. Each of the four models features a co-branded silicone pin in the shape of ADERERROR’s signature block logo.

The accompanying campaign titled “TOO PASSIONATE TO STOP’ illustrates humanistic passion and spirit in both a physical and psychological sense, through the medium of a one-of-a-kind choreographed performance. Focusing on expression, creativity, and most importantly cultural communication, ADERERROR was founded in 2014 by a diverse team from different backgrounds. Above and beyond fashion, ADERERROR endeavors to influence the way we see the world around us. Used across the collaboration, the brand’s signature shade of Z-blue represents the passion of youth.

The collection will pre-launch at birkenstock.in/1774 and adererror.com on May 19, then from ADERERROR retail locations in Korea on May 20, before releasing globally with selected retailers on May 21.

Gizeh Tech ADERERROR

The BIRKENSTOCK Gizeh is a versatile classic. Our timeless thong sandal combines optimum grip with a minimalist design. The Gizeh is crafted from Z-blue nubuck leather, featuring a special tech closure sourced from Switzerland. The made-in-Germany model is finished with a co-branded badge attached to the upper.

Arizona Tech ADERERROR

The BIRKENSTOCK Arizona has been embraced by people of all walks of life, from all around the world, making it a favorite for many. The Arizona is crafted from black-grain steer leather, featuring a special tech closure sourced from Switzerland. The made-in-Germany model is finished with a co-branded badge attached to the upper.

 Milano Tech ADERERROR

The BIRKENSTOCK Milano combines a considered fit with classic design, plus the addition of a rear strap. The Milano is crafted from soft, white-grain leather, featuring a special tech closure sourced from Switzerland. The made-in-Germany model is finished with a co-branded badge attached to the upper.

 

A630 PU Clog

The A630 PU Clog excels when it comes to stringent hygiene standards and reliable nonslip properties. Its enclosed design and the nonslip treaded sole offer reliable grip. Its oil and grease-resistant material is also water-resistant, allowing it to be cleaned efficiently and thoroughly. The made-in-Germany model is finished with a co-branded badge attached to the upper.
