Bhiwandi Closing down for 20 days

All Bhiwandi weavers Assocication and stakeholders met on 19th October 2023 at shri Halari Oswal hall, Bhiwandi to discuss status of industry, all associations of industry met and decided to close the industry for 20 days. Bhiwandi will be closed for 20 days from 1st November to 20th November 2023, in account of NO order, Slow movement of clothes, no demand, Holiday season and many more.

Mr. Harsh Haria from PDEXCIL informed that as its Diwali time, Zero demand for fabrics made all Bhiwandi associations collectively take this decision , it will affect the entire industry value chain, but powerloom weavers from industry are really helpless, uncertain future seen in the industry. Government need to interfere to industry run more effectively.
