Registration process started to boost the economy.
Avery Dennison, an American materials science company, has partnered with lifestyle brand Upwest and ReCircled, an apparel and footwear circular economy organisation, to raise awareness about the importance of having a Digital Care Label attached to a garment. The label contributes to a more circular economy and is essential for a sustainable apparel industry.
According to a press release from Avery Dennison, “this collaboration demonstrates Avery Dennison’s Digital Care Label solution, showing how it can be used in an upcycling context and provide a retail/brand experience.”
Scanning the QR codes on Avery Dennison’s Digital Hang Tags and Digital Care Labels will take consumers on an adventure detailing the item’s storey, how it will be cared for, and permitting them to interact closely with the UpWest brand.
