As per the statement made in the press release, the five sectors where the investment would be made clearly are data centres, logistics park, renewable energy, apparel and textile industry and the film city. The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had arranged for 8 teams which would be going in a international trip to hold the roadshows in 21 cities and 16 countries. This will attract more investments and also help in running the UP-GIS-2023. The GIS is scheduled in Lucknow between February 10th and 12th. A total of 108 memorandums will be coming under the MoU and will be worth Rs.7.12 lakh crore. This agreement alone will generate employment for 7 lakh youth across the state.
There is an investment worth Rs.17000 crore which was proposed for setting the data hub. This will make data the first choice for the investors. The logistics is the second preference for the government. The logistics has led to the setting up for the first data centre in Greater Noida. There will be shows held in Singapore and Australia as well where the Global state Pvt Ltd woll be investing RS.8260 crore.
A Star Consortim Private Limited will be proposing an investment of RS.1000 crore. Also, Sify Intrnational has proposed an investment of RS.8300 crore. For Logistics, there will be an investment of RS.16180 crore which will be signed. The proposal investment of RS.8,300 crore will be received at Canada and the USA. An investment of RS.1000 crore will be received for the logistics services at Singapore and Australia.
At the roadshow in UAE, Aastha Green Energy Ventures Private Limited had proposed an investment of Rs.4480 crore and Shri Siddhart Infratech will be making an investment of Rs.8000 crore.
