The University of Hawaii Athletics Department announced a new relationship with Adidas on Wednesday, with Adidas becoming the new official brand of UH Athletics.
UH Athletics and Adidas have agreed to a four-year contract that will see the Rainbow Warriors and Rainbow Wahine wear Adidas gear through the 2024-25 season.
The bulk of UH’s programmes, including the Rainbow Warriors football team, will debut their new Adidas uniforms for the next season, but all UH sports will be equipped by the 2022-23 season.
“We are excited about our collaboration with Adidas and the innovative ideas they have to help us expand our brand even further,” Athletics Director David Matlin said in a statement. “Because of the timing of this arrangement, we will gradually transition from our previous supplier to being an Adidas school, and we value the partnership as we prepare our squad for the forthcoming season.” ‘Bow together!’ Under Armour has been outfitting the ‘Bows since 2008.
