U.S. Sportswear Import Price July 2022 The average sportswear price stood at $5 per unit in July 2022, dropping by -8.6% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2022 to July 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.8%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2022 an increase of 17% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $5.5 per unit in May 2022; however, from June 2022 to July 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2022, the country with the highest price was Colombia ($16 per unit), while the price for Indonesia ($3.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2022 to July 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
