Today, TUMI debuts its Fall 2021 collection. This season, TUMI Creative Director, Victor Sanz, looked towards Antarctica. A place full of life yet protected and pure, with diverse terrain, colors and animals that thrive through below-zero temps. Its layer of protection that surrounds and encases habitation was used as a jumping-off point for the season.

“Reflecting for a moment on how the world has shifted, and recognizing what is truly important, TUMI has interpreted the idea of exterior protection from that which can and cannot be seen,” says Sanz. “This Fall, TUMI channels that inherent and essential functionality to survive and flourish in this new world and translate it into product performance.”

Bringing this seasonal inspiration to life, TUMI introduces a vibrant Glacier Blue colorway in the Voyageur and Black Navy in the Harrison collections. Bungee cord, mesh and rope accents nod to the arctic-excursion influence. With pops of bright blue, the Voyageur capsule is for the woman who sees herself as an urban nomad that appreciates style and function in equal measure.

TUMI has designed styles to fit the most active lifestyles, supporting its clients’ ambitions, passions, and pursuits. These include a running belt, hydration-reservoir compatible hiking backpacks, a ski/snowboard bag and more designs that keep up with their dynamic lifestyles.

TUMI proudly continues its ongoing commitment to sustainability, with nearly 20% of all styles featuring some component of recycled materials. The 19 Degree collection brings a line of polycarbonate cases made from over 90% pre- and post-consumer recycled materials. Each case is built to last and offers new, innovative features such as a smoother and quieter wheel system and built-in USB ports, amongst other features made to perfect the Global Citizen’s journey.

Another moment in the brand’s sustainable initiatives is the introduction of the Alpha Bravo Survivalist Capsule and TUMI Tahoe in Grey Diamond. These styles are also made with recycled materials as a continuation of TUMI’s commitment of helping preserve the world’s resources. True to the utilitarian inspiration of Alpha Bravo, the Survivalist Capsule targets the most active clients who need gear they can trust to protect the essentials that get them through every journey. Delivering dependable durability and functionality, key features that set the capsule apart include an abrasion-resistant exterior that withstands extreme wear and tear, daisy chains, a quick-release buckle, anchor detailing on zipper puller, as well as convertible styling.

The TUMI Tahoe collection also debuts a new sustainable Grey Diamond seasonal colorway made with recycled materials. Taking inspiration from sail cloth, the Grey Diamond colorway reimagines the durable material through a contemporary lens.
