Despite the mounting uncertainty around COVID-19, British e-commerce giant Asos has had reason to celebrate in terms of sales.
For the four months ending 30 June 2021, the fashion e-Group tailer’s revenue increased by 27%.
Retail sales, delivery receipts, wholesale revenue, and third-party revenue were all included in the Group’s revenue. During the four months of October, Asos’ UK retail sales increased by a whopping 60% to £526.4 million. The e-gross tailer’s margin fell by 150 basis points as a result of higher freight expenses and currency fluctuations. Asos anticipates that pandemic uncertainty will have a detrimental influence on consumer demand in the future.
