The Fashion Week is Back

With sustainability and inclusivity at its core, the fully on-ground five-day extravaganza of FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week is here Gone are the days when designers unveiled collections online, owing to the two-year pandemic. Now, it’s time to reserve your seat, as the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) in collaboration with Lakmé Fashion Week (jointly organised by Lakmé and RISE Worldwide), is coming to Delhi. Scheduled from March 23 to 27 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, the FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week will be a season-fluid edition, keeping safety measures in mind.

With some of the major industry names making it to the list, this event will be fully physical and unlike any other fashion week. While the Manish Malhotra brand will launch a new category, DIFFUSE (ease to couture), FDCI will present a khadi curation comprising French-Malian designer Mossi Traoré and Indian designers Abhishek Gupta Benares, Anavila, Anju Modi, Charu Parashar and Rina Dhaka. There will also be a key showcase on Sustainable Fashion Day by Rajesh Pratap Singh, Payal Pratap, Nitin Bal Chauhan, Divyam Mehta and Ka-Sha.

Sunil Sethi, FDCI chairman, comments, “This edition is extremely special as we are making a fully physical comeback after two years of adapting to the digital environment. Audiences can expect the best of designers and talent, with an intense and power-packed schedule.”
