Promoters raise holding in Indian denim manufacturer Vishal Fabrics

Vishal Fabrics Limited (VFL), a part of the India-based Chiripal Group, and a denim manufacturing and fabric processing unit incorporated in 1985, has announced that its promoters have increased their holdings in the company by acquiring 10,16,000 equity shares from the open market this month. Promoter holdings has risen by 1.54 per cent in the company.

Promoter Group (Savitridevi V Chiripal) of VFL purchased 5,11,000 equity shares on August 12, 2021, and subsequently another 5,05,000 shares on August 23. “The total trades executed by the promoter group were 10,16,000 equity shares. The respective disclosures for each trade have been duly made with the Stock Exchange,” the company said in a press release.

“VFL constantly strives to improve and innovate with its wider fabric manufacturing capacity and carbon-reducing technology across its processing units,” the release added.
