The Pantone Color Institute (PCI), Pantone’s trend forecasting and colour consultancy, has published a Fashion Color Trend Report for the fashion industry, highlighting the top ten standout colours, as well as current takes on five core classics, that can be expected as fashion designers unveil their new Spring/Summer collections at the ongoing London Fashion Week.
Colors for LFW Spring/Summer 2022 promote new attitudes of simplicity and spontaneity, fusing the profound connection to nature and need for comfort and familiarity with light-hearted, airy pastels and visually stunning brights.
Capturing the notion of complement and contrast, Pantone’s Spring/Summer 2022 LFW colours promote “playful inventiveness and unrestrained expression that is full of life,” according to the company’s website.
The Spring/Summer 2022 London colour palette combines feelings of simplicity and spontaneity, inspiring new forms of individualised expression.
