This fashion show was unique as it wasn’t the collection, that was applauded, but the show stoppers won the hearts of guests as they walked the ramp in style with designers and some of them even shook a leg on the ramp. The annual show by  Tamana, an NGO, working in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) hosted a show on Friday and specially-abled kids from the NGO walking the ramp were the real show stealers. The chief guest of the event was U.P. Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles. Justice DhananjayaYeshwantChandrachud was also present at the event.

The show titled Fashion Beyond Boundaries was dedicated to khadi and handloom and designers like Anju Modi, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Payal Jain, NamrataJoshipura, Nitin Bal Chauhan, ReynuTaandon, PawanSachdeva, DhruvVaish, Neetu Singh and Abhi Singh presented their collections at the event. The evening began with a performance by Diwakar of Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champs fame. Tamana along with her mother ShayamaChona and participating designers closed the show.

“The FDCI has been associated with Tamana for many years now and this annual event is the most awaited show of the year. This is our way of celebrating the invincible spirit of the Tamana children as they add happiness to the runway,” said FDCI chairman Sunil Sethi. “The founding principle of this fashion show is quite simple: all are created equal. And inclusion creates a unity that goes beyond fashion,” added ShayamaChona, founder and president, Tamana.
