Kitex would establish a Rs 1,200 billion garment manufacturing cluster in TS.

At a cost of Rs 1,200 crore, Kitex Group would establish an integrated fiber-to-apparel manufacturing cluster with a daily production capacity of 7 lakh garments. The ground-breaking ceremony for the Kitex Group project at Seetharampur, Rangareddy district, took place on Thursday with participation from Telangana Industries Minister K T Rama Rao, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy, and Mines & Geology Minister P Mahender Reddy.

The second-largest infant clothing maker in the world will establish a cluster of integrated fiber-to-apparel manufacturing facilities here.

It is anticipated to cover 250 acres in Seetharampur and directly employ more than 11,000 people, more than 80% of whom will be women. By December 2024, the complete facility will be in use.
