John Lewis, the well-known apparel shop from the United Kingdom, is making its first foray into the investing sector.
According to reports, the British retailer has partnered with digital wealth management Nutmeg to launch three new investment products.
There are three types of ISAs: junior ISAs, stocks and shares ISAs, and general investment accounts.
John Lewis has announced a new investment market programme for its customers. Stocks and shares ISA has an annual allowance of £20,000, while junior ISA is £9,000. The UK retailer selected the products following a survey conducted amongst 2,000 UK adults. According to the survey, 52 per cent of respondents said the pandemic has made them reassess how they spend and save.
