Iluna Group, the Italian company known for its high-quality design driven laces, is going back to MarediModa, the international fair dedicated to fabrics and accessories for the beachwear, underwear and athleisure sectors, to present its latest innovations, with a focus on a new beachwear sets able to combine aesthetic research and environmental responsibility.

Iluna’s journey into the new dimension of responsible quality continues and translates into the ability to transform all the precious designs of the collection into sustainable/recycled qualities.

In terms of aesthetic innovation, exploration continues with matchy pareos and allovers, double laces with colorful charmeuses. Worth to mention the precious multicolour laces enriched with amazing iridescent effects (Lurex) that give unexpected glows. Absolute novelty of this season is the new double face printing on polyamide with a high sea fastness and unexpected iridescent effects on GRS-certified tulle.

The GRS certified Green Label collection uses Renycle® and Q- NOVA®, both GRS-certified pre-consumer recycled polyamide yarns in addition to the recycled stretch ROICATM EF by Asahi Kasei. New this season is the use of prints and now foils while maintaining GRS certification aimed at unprecedented effects in both look, performance and hands. Moreover, the Iluna team is introducing for the first time GOTS-certified organic cotton inside its gallons and allovers, to add a natural touch to its Green Label line.

While the BIOLINE embraces the circular economy and presents proposals containing Amni Soul Eco® and ROICATM V550.

Moreover, the continuous path through the new dimension of responsibility continues in several directions: experiments with 16 different natural dyestuffs; and continued investment in technologies that can ensure significant savings in water and energy consumption, including GREENDROP, the new GOTS-certified digital pigment printing system.

Iluna Group was founded in 1970 by Luigi Annovazzi with the production of preformed cups for bras. In 1985 Iluna acquires the Ondoli plan t in Cuggiono, specialized in the totally vertically integrated production of elastic lace. The products that constitute the core business of the group are microfiber and tulle fabrics, rigid and elastic lace for outerwear, underwear, corsetry and beachwear, hosiery and seamless garments with Karl Mayer technology. Since 2014, Iluna Group Srl has distinguished itself by intertwining the values of beauty, innovation and responsibility thanks to Iluna Lab, a research and development center where laces are conceived and designed to become sustainable ingredients in a contemporary wardrobe. The smart values are attested by the certification STeP – Sustainable Textile Production by Oeko – Tex® for its ethical approach. Iluna is also the first lace manufacturer to be awarded the GRS – Global Recycled Standard for processed products, and whose products are all OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. Furthermore, Iluna presents an exceptional range of natural colors made from flowers and plants and a color chart with 16 shades, which is continuously expanding. All dyes are GOTS certified and meet the requirements of OEKO TEX® Standard 100.
