Leading textile and fashion companies Hyosung, Tefron, and Santoni have come together to reshape the future of environmentally friendly clothing. With a growing demand for sustainable solutions in the industry, this collaborative effort aims to introduce a new generation of sportswear and seamless apparel made from certified and multi-functional yarns.
The collaborative product was unveiled at the recent ISPO Munich event held from November 28-30, where it garnered attention and set new standards in sustainable activewear and seamless clothing. Santoni showcased its first-ever capsule collection of seamless materials, featuring Hyosung’s certified creora® Bio-Based elastane and 100% recycled creora® regen elastane, as well as soft-stretch creora® EasyFlex. These materials were created using Santoni’s world-class seamless knitting machines.
In a joint statement, representatives from Tefron, Hyosung, and Santoni expressed their excitement about the partnership, highlighting the combination of certified eco-friendly materials and innovative production techniques. By integrating Tefron’s expertise in seamless knitting with Hyosung’s creora® Bio-Based yarn, they believe that this collaboration will pave the way for innovative designs and styles previously difficult to achieve with traditional materials.
Simon Whitmarsh-Knight, Hyosung Global Marketing Director-Textiles, emphasized the numerous advantages of the partnership, including traceable and certified fibres, comfort, performance, and versatility. Meanwhile, Patrick Silva, Marketing Manager/Business Developer at Santoni, expressed their delight in unveiling the new capsule collection, which aims to introduce fresh and innovative seamless solutions to brands’ offerings.
As the world continues to prioritize sustainability, this partnership is expected to have a significant impact on the future of environmentally friendly fashion.
