The International Sourcing Show Australia and co-located Footwear and Leather Show Australia will return to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 15 – 17 November 2022, after a gap of three years due to the pandemic. The events will be held in a Covid-safe format and will be co-located with China Clothing Textiles Accessories Expo. An additional and related sourcing event will be held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre in June 2023.

As the effects of the pandemic abate and business conditions in Australia and globally rebound, exhibitors and visitors will come together in a professional and trusted format that will seek to catalyse business opportunities and restore and re-invigorate global sourcing partnerships.

The International Sourcing Expo and Footwear and Leather Show and co-located China Clothing Textiles Accessories Expo represent Australasia’s largest sourcing expo in apparel, accessories and textiles, with an expected 350+ exhibitors from 20 countries.

The 2019 Expo saw more than 4000 visits from large fashion retailers to start-up labels, including Peter Alexander, Myer, Kookai, Lincraft, Cotton On Group, Fila, Forever New, and Wittner, looking to make valuable connections with potential and existing suppliers.

Thousands of apparel, textile and footwear professionals from Australia and beyond will once again be able to connect in a face-to-face format at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on Tuesday 15 – Thursday 17 November 2022.

“We are excited to not only proceed with the show in 2022 in a face-to-face format, but also expand the sourcing portfolio to include a Sydney event in 2023 which will include gift, home and fashion product categories. As the seminal producer of global sourcing events in Australia we are committed to innovation and the long-term future of the event portfolio in Australia. The events provide a recognised channel for global sourcing activity and connection which is even more invaluable than ever before” said Marie Kinsella, Chief Executive Officer, International Exhibition & Conference Group Pty Ltd. Australia remains a market with major potential which has navigated the pandemic with robust policy settings enabling it to emerge from the worst of the pandemic with strong business conditions, including consumer and investment spending, and employment.

‘The pandemic has affected and disrupted many businesses and supply chains, but this poses opportunity for organisations that are dynamic and keen to pursue new and sustainable partnerships. Now, more than ever before, the impetus and opportunity to find new production and supply partners is important on a global scale.’ Said Julie Holt, Global Exhibitions Director.
