Cadica presents its new FW23/24 Collection “FEEDING YOUR IDEAS” created by Alejandro Espinosa Caballero, Creative Director of Cadica Group and A+A Design Studio. From his point of view, creativity comes from hunger; hunger for knowledge, hunger for information, hunger to live…. For him, hunger is a mantra. There is no such thing as research and creativity without the need to know and be satisfied with curiosity.
The new Cadica collection, decided in 4 families, is based on the idea of hunger, taste and the sight of food.
Each collection line is inspired by an international dish and every article represents an element of it. The choice of the materials, colors and textures aims to represent every dishes.

Inspired by those little pleasures in life, that often we take for granted. It’s time to slow down and enjoy the smell of coffee in the morning, those fried donuts on the corner street, those quite dinners that make us realise how grateful we all are.
The surfaces are worn, rough and natural. Buttered, polished or recycled leather centered around design and longevity with a touch of cool and imperfect or aged metal.
The colors are in shades of brown, from burnt to more neutral tones that are warm and comforting, rays of light from dawn and dusk. We evaluate the everyday by covering it with greyness, keeping it simple, uncomplicated but always a little mysterious.
TREND 2 – SEA DREAMIN’
Keywords: PARALLEL REALITY, DIVING INTO INFINITY, ENDLESS REFINEMENT, GLOWS FINISHING DEEP TONES AND HALO HUES, SHINY EMBROIDERY & SILVERY GLAM,INFINITE SENSE OF MYSTERY, SEA-DEITY, REALISM VS IMAGINATION.

A story about the desire to escape and change, an urge to disappear into the deep waters, where there is lively fauna and flora, but also tranquility and strength. The idea of human evolution is not necessarily directional, linear or binary, but it has to be inherently creative, celebrating the diversity and redefining the ideals of beauty.
The texture and colors of the sand symbolize the passage from reality to dream-like, from the earth to the sea.
The reflections of the sea, from green to blue, move on the skin together with pearly ones.
TREND 3 – SAFETY/SECURITY
Keywords: IMPORTANCE AND VALUE OF WORK, INDUSTRIAL FEEL, COMEBACK OF MANUAL LABOUR, QUALITY OVER QUANTITY, ORDINARY BUT EXTRAORDINARY, MINIMAL & CLEAN ENVIRONMENT.

Whether we talk about “safety” or “security”, in this period they have certainly taken on greater value.
We search for flat compositions of lines, forms, and particular color combos. Metallic surfaces inspired by aerospace, cemented surfaces inspired by innovative asphalt of highways and land-strips, to tech materials inspired by urban workwear.
The environments are minimal, clean, using basic gray in both warm and cold hues with touches of well-defined accents and strong contrasts of fluorescence and reflectors.
TREND 4 – PAST VS FUTURE
Keywords: 80S CONNECTION, PLAYFUL SCI-FI, “GOOD OLD DAYS”, SPACE AGE AESTHETIC, COLORFUL DETAILS, OSCILLATING BETWEEN TECHNOLOGY, SCIENCE AND ART, FEELS ULTRA MODERN & RETRO AT THE SAME TIME, VINTAGE VIBES.
Main Concepts: Faux Nostalgia, Future’s Connection, 80’s Connections, Leap Into The Future
What happens when science and technology meet nostalgia? A terminology that is so much in vogue: “retro-futurism”. What may seem virtual today is tomorrow’s reality.
Metallic and iridescent textures are combined with surfaces that pulsate and amalgamate in colorful depth.
The black of the darkness of non-knowledge, contrasts with the neon lights of strong primary colors. Retro-hues to create and old or vintage feel are mixed with bright accents.
