Women are getting more dresses with pockets thanks to Old Navy! In response to the call for pocket equity from women all over the world, the shop has increased the number of dresses with pockets in its new spring line.

Old Navy has committed to expanding its dress selection with perfectly placed pockets even more in its summer collection and beyond. The styles will be easily shoppable at www.oldnavy.com/pockets. Old Navy achieved this significant pocket milestone in just six months since the holiday collection debut.

Pockets Are Popular

It’s no secret that dresses with pockets are popular with ladies. In fact, more than half of women say their favourite go-to dresses in their collections include pockets, and women are twice as likely to prefer dresses with pockets as those without. And it’s not shocking. why. About three-quarters of women note the lack of pocket equity in women’s clothing, and women wish for the ease of pockets that are inherent in menswear. Seventy-three percent of women (73%) say pockets are a crucial haven for their hands, whether for warmth or as a place to place them in uncomfortable situations, while nearly nine out of ten women (87%) rely on pockets for basic storage, like holding small items or as an alternative to carrying a handbag.

Despite their practicality, pockets are a source of excitement for the majority of clothing enthusiasts. Nearly nine out of ten (88%) women say they adore the surprise of finding something they forgot about in a pocket, and 71% of women say learning that a new dress includes pockets instantly improves their mood.

Day of Pockets of Joy

Old Navy is hosting a celebration for its pocket announcement. On Saturday, April 1, some establishments are inviting consumers inside for “Pockets of Joy Day.” Customers of Old Navy can locate tokens concealed in specific pockets of the retailer’s new spring dress goods that can be exchanged for a $20 gift card, capitalising on the ubiquitous thrill of finding things in pockets. This is not a trick of the day!
