Mango, the Spanish retail bigwig, is amongst those retailers for whom bricks-and-mortar stores still hold a lot of relevance.
At least, that’s what the numbers say! The fashion retailer launched as many as 221 stores in 2021, which is a good 10 per cent jump from 2020.
As a result, the store portfolio of the retailer now stands at 2,447, with the latest store being launched at Manhattan-based Fifth Avenue.
Mango seems to be clear about its focus on expanding bricks-and-mortar stores and also plans to beat the 2019 revenue by the end of the fiscal year. In doing so, the retailer aims to also generate online revenue of € 1 billion.
Late last year, Mango had also launched the sustainable fashion brand Alter Made that offered the best of durable and timeless high-quality pieces with sustainable characteristics.
Mango is mainly known for its womenswear, menswear and kidswear and has over 16,000 stores across the globe.
