Multi-brand fashion and lifestyle retailer Good Earth launched ‘The Designer Series’ on its e-commerce store on July 24 featuring five luxury fusion wear apparel brands.

Good Earth, which already retails its own apparel line Sustain along with accessories and homeware on its dedicated e-commerce platform, has added brands Ezma, Raw Mango, Artisau, Anavila, and Buna to its online roster. Good Earth had previously carried a selection of these brands’ designs in its brick-and-mortar stores and now brings them to a wider, international audience with its online launch.

“We are delighted to announce the online launch of independent designer labels,” the brand announced on Facebook on Friday. “Having been long-term retail partners at our stores, they understand and imbibe the same values of sustainable luxury, as we at Good Earth do. These brands share our passion for heritage textiles, the art of dressing and their collections have been specially curated for our customers.”

Good Earth’s new online offerings include minimalist yet colourful womenswear from Simran Chaudhary’s brand Artisau, sarees from from Sanjay Garg’s Raw Mango, cashmere shawls from Ezma, ethereal designs from Buna, and linen garments from Anavila.

As increasing numbers of shoppers embrace online shopping in the wake of lockdown, many retailers are increasing their online offerings, expecting e-commerce sales to account for an increasing amount of total sales. With local lockdowns disrupting retail business across India, online sales give businesses an opportunity to keep revenue flowing amidst potential brick-and-mortar disruption.
