Polish fashion firm LPP Partners has joined the Cotton made in Africa (CmiA) initiative and will market its first CmiA-labelled products before the end of the year.

The company has agreed to purchase up to 60 million items per year, which will support its ongoing sustainability ambitions whilst benefitting the initiative’s network of small-scale farmers.

Tina Stride, the managing director of the Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) – CmiA’s parent organization – commented: “We are thrilled to have won our first Polish partner in LPP and to be working with them to create a sustainable basis for their product portfolio through CmiA.”
