Aquafil, the synthetic fabric firm behind the regenerated nylon fabric Econyl, has established an e-commerce shop for consumers on its website.
The online marketplace sells apparel, menswear, swimwear, and accessories from 15 manufacturers who use Econyl in their goods. In the following months, more businesses are anticipated to join the platform.
Aquafil has opened a new online store to offer items produced from its recycled Econyl fabric. According to the Italian firm, the store was developed in response to market trends in sustainability and online sales. It mostly carries lesser-known brands, such as State of Matter, a menswear line established by Japanese company Itochu. Prices range from €34 ($40) for a modest Pacsafe crossbody purse to €445 ($600) for a backpack by Aoife.
Econyl has developed an online shop as well as a magazine to educate people about sustainability. Customers may search for companies based on ideals such as veganism, zero waste, ethical labour, and size inclusivity. The website also has a magazine with articles about sustainability. The brand has hired a catalogue specialist to work on the online store, and its digital staff has been restructured.
