“Fabrics On-The-Go”
At the latest edition of Pitti Uomo, Carnet is set to transform the concept of modern tailoring through a newly imagined and immersive experience.
A proud division of the Ratti Group, Carnet has upheld a legacy of elegance and craftsmanship since 1865. Building on this heritage, the brand is now introducing a contemporary interpretation of tailoring—one that turns the simple act of fabric selection into a dynamic, engaging, and memorable journey.
During this edition of Pitti Uomo, Carnet introduces “Fabrics On-The-Go”, a project that blends the artistry of sartorial tradition with the possibilities of technological innovation. Through this interactive experience, visitors will explore tailoring and fashion in a thought-provoking format designed to ignite curiosity and enhance their understanding of the textile world. Key elements of the experience include exclusive fabrics, customized accessories, and the unveiling of a special Golden Fabric.
This initiative is developed in collaboration with four prominent names from both the Italian and global textile industries: Bemberg by Asahi Kasei, Brunello, Ferla, and Tessuti di Sondrio. The partnership goes beyond a simple co-exhibit—it serves as a powerful declaration of intent: to honour the excellence of Italian craftsmanship while embracing a future-forward tailoring philosophy that remains deeply rooted in tradition.
With this creative venture, Carnet further strengthens its identity as a curator of excellence and a champion of a tailoring method that combines artisanal expertise with modern sensibilities and technology. The purpose is clearly defined: to render the tailoring world more inclusive, engaging, and culturally significant.
“We want fabric to once again become a conscious and inspirational choice when building one’s wardrobe,” affirms Tim Neckebroeck, Head of Carnet.
Launching this concept at Pitti Uomo is no coincidence. Known as the premier stage for cutting-edge men’s fashion, this international platform attracts high-end labels, elite tailors, buyers, and creatives from around the globe—making it the perfect setting for Carnet to present its innovative vision. A brand that has been a trailblazer since 1865, Carnet continues to evolve without ever straying from the essence of its heritage.
