C&A, which is a fast-fashion retail clothing company, builds a new factory in Europe. They have finalized their start-up of a clothing factory, in the German town of Monchengladbach, which will initially start the production of jeans.

The factory will start its production with sustainable practices and employment of 100 people. They will start their work mostly in Autumn 2021.

One of the pillars of the chain’s rebranding last year, when it adopted a new logo and the Wear the Change tagline, was sustainability. The company already uses 50% sustainable resources and is one of the world’s largest users of organic cotton. Cofra Holding owns the company, which has around 1,400 outlets in 18 countries and 31,000 employees.
