(BGMEA)MOU an ARL for estiblishment innovation lab

The Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) recently took an initiative to set up a Center of Innovation, Efficiency and Occupational Safety and Health for its member factories to increase competitiveness in the industry. It recently signed a memorandum of understanding with aamra Resources Limited (ARL) in this regard.

BGMEA president Rubana Huq and ARL chief executive officer Sohel Ahmed signed the agreement, BGMEA said in a press release. ARL is a readymade garments machinery and equipment solutions provider in Bangladesh.

Under the MoU, ARL will provide software facility as a courtesy at the BGMEA centre.

BGMEA will get 3D pattern drawing and design hardware and software from Lectra, powered by ARL, which will also offer training and manpower for establishment of the innovation lab
