On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, seven Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) parks are being set up to establish a complete textile ecosystem in the country.

All this will help the textile industry to flourish and new developments will take place.

Moreover, a Production Linked Incentive Scheme for textiles has has also been introduced to boost manufacturering and strengthening the value chain. All of these schemes will enable affordable and ‘made in India’ clothing for people all over the country.
