January 20th 2024 – Traveling is like dreaming: Drawing inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s famous aphorism, for SS 25, Iluna Group embarks on a sensory journey that is woven into every fabric of the collection, inspired by three destinations as diverse as they are evocative. The precise creative vision and unmatched expertise honed over the years, in a fusion of flair and innovation, give life to an eclectic collection, an ode to artisanal mastery
and talent.
The three inspirational themes are the bon-ton of the Cote D’Azur, the mysterious Reynisfjara, and the vibrant Costiera Amalfitana . Places that stimulate emotions, vibrations, and energy, evoking an imagery that is “felt” and transforming into unique perceptual experiences that range from the tranquility of spring to the primal
and impetuous charm of nature, to the summer sensuality of “Latin” colors and scents.
The journey begins on the Cote d’Azur, carrying itstimeless beauty and the grace of the Mediterranean nature. It draws inspiration from lavender, wildflowers, and the sea breeze. The pastel colors, like delicate brushstrokes, recall the soft and harmonious tones that characterize this magnificent coast. A breath of wind, light as the ethereal dresses in Sangallo and fresh Vichy patterns.
In stark contrast, the forceful Reynisfjara in Iceland conveys the full
power of wild elements. The black beach, unpredictable waves, subtle light, and organic and geometric designs hark back to a primordial era where the forces of nature reign supreme over everything. The ego disappears, and we become part of the whole. The colour palette is cold and deep, contrasted by soft shades touching on nude and powder blue.
And here we are on the Costiera Amalfitana, a symbol of the most authentic Italianity celebrating summer with Latin vibrations, sensuality, and picturesque landscapes. The strong earth colors emerge, contrasting with the seductive turquoise of the sea, the lush green of lemon trees dotting the landscape, and the burnt tones of rocks and cliffs.
