AROUND 15000 BUYERS To VISIT THE SHOW
BUSINESS WORTH Rs 400-500 cr TO BE CREATED
The three day exhibition Garment Show of India will begin 27th -29th July at Expo Center Sector 62, NOIDA.
The three day show is expected to create business worth Rs 400 cr and around 15000 buyers will be visiting the show during these three days.
Leading retail chains like Shoppers Stop, Reliance, Westside, Spencer’s, Lifestyle Group, Chennai Silk, W Mart, Lacoste, Aditya Birla group are expected to visit the show for sourcing apparel, fashion accessories and trims.
The GSI has tied up with various associations to attract a good number of visitors like Ludhiana Knitwear Association, Handloom Exporters Association, Sourcing Consultants Agency, Noida Apparel Export Cluster and Indian Industry Association.
Ready- made garment manufacturers from Delhi, Noida, Ludhiana, Tirupur, Mumbai, who are into manufacturing of evening wear, casual wear, t-shirts, dresses, tops, nightwear, active wear, sweatshirts, shirts, trousers are participating at the fair.
Well known companies like New Delhi Export House, 22 Milestones, Celestial Knits, Rahul Fashion, SK Dyeing, Pragya International, Nitara, Fashniza, Hohenstein, Eco Leaps by Shipra, Cuddles India, Gildan Brands Australia, Radiant Exports and many other companies are participating at the show.
More than 1000 buying houses have confirmed their presence at the show for sourcing as GSI has tied up with Sourcing Consultants Agency/BAA. Rajeev Bansal, MD, Celestial Knits and Vice President IIA said, “The exhibition has played a very important role for us in meeting with potential buyers of the domestic market which has a huge potential. We are optimistic about the 6th Edition also.”
Apparel Fashion Forum a concurrent event will also be held which will host panel discussions on important topics related to apparel and fashion industry. Experts, professionals, Ceo’s, Founders of many well known brands will come together to share their views on the industry and ongoing trends. Chippy Aditya Mehta, CEO, Bombay Shirt Company, Lalit Agarwal, CMD, Vmart Retail Ltd, Daisy Gogia from Soch Apparels, Sunil Goklani, CEO, Bestseller Indfusion, Devika Srimal Bapna, VP, Marketplaces & Growth – FabAlley & Indya and many more will be the guest speakers at the conference which will be held in 28th July at Noida Expo Center.

Several sourcing teams from retail chains like Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, Dmart, Arvind Fashion, Lifestyle Group, etc have confirmed their visitation at the show.

Gildan, an Australian brand has decided to launch its brand in India via Garment Show of India. “We are very excited to launch our brand at the Garment Show of India, we look forward to having great networking and new association at the show,” said David Hilen from Gildan brand.
The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, MP, Gautam Buddh Nagar along with Ceo’s of leading retail chains.
