On the occasion of the event “M(A)Y FIBER- Part of art and textiles between tradition and sustainability”,” promoted by the municipality of Busto Arsizio in collaboration with the Arte & Arte association and the Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, denim garments tracing the history of blue jeans from the late 1800s to the present day will be exhibited on May 21, 22, 23 and 24 at the premises of Rudolf HUB1922, the fashion division of the Rudolf Group.

An emotional journey through the infinite shades of indigo blue of the world’s most democratic fabric, starting with an emotional immersion in the interactive, immersive room, where the world of better chemistry is visualized and explained in a very compelling way.

You will then learn more about the history of American denim from the early 1900s to the 1970s, thanks to the ELLETI GROUP, which has kindly provided garments of great historical and cultural value from its M.O.D.E. Museum in San Bonifacio VR.

Guests will discover Japan thanks to the traditional kimonos and hakama dyed with natural indigo and the contemporary reinterpretation created by MEIDEA itself and its brand BLU’N ME from Castelfranco Veneto for a strong and contemporary samurai woman.

Let yourself be transported to the world of the French workers of the late 19th century, thanks to the garments that have been worn over time by the natural elements and hard work, but have kept their indigo roots from the private collection of Piero Turk and Serena Conti of Envelop Denim Design Studios.

Finally, return to the present with futuristic looks that spring out of the techniques and innovations that are the DNA of Paolo Gnutti, creative director of ISKO™ Luxury by PG .

The vernissage will take place on May 20th from 6pm.
