Adidas is about to release the Climamog, a 3D-printed footwear that has created a lot of attention on social media. This is the brand’s latest invention. Expanding upon the Climacool idea, the Climamog boasts an upper composed entirely of polyurethane with a lattice-like structure created via 3D printing for increased ventilation and comfort. High ventilation is promised by the breathable vents in this design that reach the sole.
Sneaker photographer Tyler Mansour showcased the Climamog’s cutting-edge style and reinvented comfort in his preview. The sneaker, which retails for between $146 and $168, was first made available in Malaysia and Singapore in the Off-White colorway. Although a US release date has not yet been announced, details regarding the 3D-printed design and production process have surfaced from a Customs and Border Protection tariff ruling, indicating a possible US debut shortly.
Adidas has been using Climacool technology since 2002, and in past collections, the brand has experimented with 3D printing. With the Climamog, Adidas’ approach to shoe design has undergone a noteworthy metamorphosis, and a substantial advancement in entirely 3D-printed footwear has been made.
