ABRAPA have just released the updated monthly Brazilian cotton crop and market report. Check out the main highlights:
The harvest of the 2021 crop in Brazilian fields has been completed in the last few days. Ginning has advanced to 65% of the total production and 59% has already been HVI tested.
According to Abrapa, the 2022 crop will increase by 20% in cotton production volume, reaching 2.79 million tonnes. If this forecast is confirmed, it will be the second-best season in history.
Up to October 14th 2021, 20% of the 2021 crop has been used domestically and 14% exported.
