3rd regional Textiles Committee lab certified to test PPE

The Textiles Committee, a statutory body under the Indian ministry of textiles, recently received certification from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for its regional laboratory in Ludhiana to undertake testing of coveralls and masks for some critical test parameters. Its Mumbai and Bengaluru laboratories already have this certification.

The Textiles Committee has also been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) for undertaking inspection of body coveralls for domestic and international markets.

This was announced in a recent webinars planned by the Textiles Committee to facilitate awareness about international regulations and other requirements for export of PPE to the United States, the European Union and other important destinations.
