Lee ®, the iconic clothing brand recognized for its timeless denim-style and creative fashion, unveiled its first-ever global sustainability targets in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Founded under Lee’s newly launched global sustainability initiative, For a World That WorksTM, these priorities are focused on actively seeking more sustainable appliance technology and production solutions.
Lee ‘s four global objectives for sustainability are to:
- Power 100 per cent of all renewable energy owned and operated facilities by 2025.
- By 2025, using more than 50 per cent of recycled synthetics.
- Source 100 per cent recycled or sustainably grown cotton by 2025.
- Increase dyed IndigoodTM goods annually through 2025.
