Gursharan Singh Dang
Narain Synthetics Private Limited participated in Yarnex 2025, where the company presented its latest product developments and brand initiatives. Director Gursharan Singh Dang spoke with us about the company's offerings and exhibition outcomes.
Company Overview
Narain Synthetics manufactures blended fabrics with a focus on polyviscose, polyviscose lycra, PV, PC, and ethnic fabrics. The company also distributes imported materials sourced from international markets. "We are into polyviscose, polyviscose lycra, PV, PC, ethnic fabrics, and a variety of imported and high-quality fabrics," said Dang.
The company's product range includes:
- Polyviscose and polyviscose lycra fabrics
- Polywool variants (PV, PC)
- Ethnic fabric collections
- Imported materials from global suppliers
The company supplies to apparel manufacturers, designers, and textile retailers across India.
Product Launch: Knitted Tweed Collection
At Yarnex 2025, Narain Synthetics introduced a range of knitted tweed fabrics, marking a shift from traditional woven tweed options. "We have introduced our range of knitted items, which are taking over the tweed collection. That’s what is in the future and trend right now." Dang explained.
The knitted tweed collection offers flexibility and comfort compared to conventional woven tweeds, while maintaining the characteristic tweed aesthetic. This development reflects the company's response to current market preferences for fabrics that combine classic styling with contemporary wearability.

Market Positioning
Narain Synthetics positions itself on delivering quality materials at competitive price points. "Good quality at reasonable prices—that’s what everybody looks for," noted Dang. This approach allows the company to serve both large-scale production units and smaller design houses.
New Brand Launch: Brooks Hampton
To address concerns about product duplication in the market, the company has launched Brooks Hampton, a new branded line with enhanced authentication measures.
"We have launched a new brand named Brooks Hampton. With proper branding and systems, there will not be any duplication or fraudulent transactions," Dang stated.
The Brooks Hampton brand includes structured packaging, labelling systems, and quality protocols designed to prevent counterfeiting and protect customer interests.
Exhibition Results
The company reported satisfactory results from Yarnex 2025, held in Mumbai.
"Pretty good—good visitors, good enquiries. Mumbai is always a good market," said Dang.
According to the company, the exhibition generated buyer interest, particularly in the new knitted tweed range. "We got a good number of enquiries and contacts—we are very happy about it," he added.
Dang noted that the organisers have facilitated valuable business connections over multiple years of participation.
Looking Ahead
The company maintains its focus on product development and market responsiveness. "New things, new products—always," Dang emphasised. For those who missed this year's event, Dang extended an invitation: "Do visit next time."
