Monforts to Showcase Technical Textile and Finishing Technologies at ITM 2026

Company to showcase finishing, dyeing, coating and retrofit technologies for regional textile manufacturers at Istanbul exhibition
Germany-based Monforts will focus on technical textile opportunities and advanced textile finishing technologies at ITM 2026, scheduled to take place in Istanbul from June 9-13. The company will exhibit its range of dyeing, finishing, coating and retrofit solutions at Stand 1117D in Hall 11.
Monforts stated that Türkiye remains one of its key markets for textile finishing, coating and continuous dyeing equipment.
Monforts will present its textile finishing, coating and continuous dyeing technologies at ITM 2026 in Istanbul, with a focus on opportunities for textile manufacturers in the technical textiles sector.
The company said its Montex stenters continue to be widely used for processes including drying, stretching, heat-setting and coating across denim, home textiles and technical textile applications. According to Monforts, the systems are recognised for production throughput and energy efficiency advantages.
The company will also highlight its Thermex continuous dyeing ranges, which are designed for continuous dyeing operations with advanced process control and dye application technology. Monforts stated that the systems support dye penetration consistency, colour reproducibility and energy savings during long production runs.
For smaller lot sizes and simplified continuous dyeing processes, Thermex systems frequently utilise the Econtrol® process for reactive dyestuffs, developed jointly by Monforts and Dystar. The process is described as a one-pass pad-dry-wash off dyeing method involving drying in the hotflue at 120-130°C with controlled humidity levels of 25-30% by volume to achieve fixation within two-to-three minutes.
Additional technologies in the Monforts portfolio include DynAir relaxation dryers and Monfortex compressive shrinking ranges. The company said recent line installations in Türkiye include projects at Altoteks, Altun, İlay Textile, Kücüker, Kipas Denim, Palmiye, Seher and Rose Fabric.
Monforts also noted increasing demand for retrofit projects aimed at upgrading existing machinery with new drive systems and control technologies. The company stated that such retrofits can improve operational performance beyond standard spare-part replacement.

The Matex Eco Applicator is one of a number of energy and resource saving modules available for retrofitting.
Retrofit options include the Energy Tower heat recovery system, Eco Booster integrated heat recovery technology for Montex stenters, and the Matex Eco Applicator, which is positioned as an alternative to conventional padding processes for energy-conscious finishing operations.
At ITM 2026, Monforts will additionally present its coating technologies, including the MontexCoat, coaTTex and VertiDry systems.
According to the company, textile manufacturers in the region are increasingly exploring technical textile applications by adding functionality and performance characteristics to textile substrates. Mentioned end-use sectors include tents, awnings, sailcloth, blackout blinds, automotive interiors, filter media, flame-retardant barrier fabrics and reinforcement materials for composite parts.
