Molteni&C Expands French Retail Network with New Flagship Store in Lyon

New directly operated showroom at 13 Rue Jarente strengthens the brand's presence in France and showcases its latest interior design collections.

Molteni&C has expanded its footprint in the French market with the opening of a new flagship store in Lyon, adding another directly operated location to its global retail network.

Situated at 13 Rue Jarente, in the heart of Lyon's 2nd arrondissement, the flagship store is positioned within a district known for its architectural heritage, design studios, galleries and contemporary lifestyle destinations. The location connects the city's historic centre with its commercial hub and forms part of Molteni&C's continued international expansion.

The Lyon showroom joins the company's existing directly operated stores in London, Paris, Doha, New York, Washington D.C., Miami, Melbourne and Singapore. Molteni&C has also confirmed that its global network will expand further by the end of 2026 with the addition of new flagship stores in Sydney and Los Angeles.

The new showroom has been designed to highlight architecture, interiors and furniture through a curated presentation of works by Creative Director Vincent Van Duysen, Herzog & de Meuron, Foster + Partners, Jean Nouvel, Christophe Delcourt and other designers associated with the brand.

The first floor features living and dining settings from the 2025 Indoor Collection. The display includes the Emile modular sofa, Odile and Lèa coffee tables by Christophe Delcourt, D.151.4 armchairs by Gio Ponti from the Molteni&C Heritage Collection, the Lia armchair by GamFratesi, and the Mateo marble table by Vincent Van Duysen paired with the Porta Volta chair by Herzog & de Meuron.

The showroom also presents the Ratio kitchen by Vincent Van Duysen, featuring Lunar tall units, Tech Column 2.0, marble worktops and backsplashes, wooden island fronts and Devon stools by Rodolfo Dordoni. Nearby, the dining area includes the Old Ford table by Rodolfo Dordoni alongside Glove Up chairs by Patricia Urquiola.

Visitors can also view the VVD kitchen, another design by Vincent Van Duysen, together with the Continuum D.163.7 armchair by Gio Ponti and the Panna Cotta side table by Ron Gilad.

Additional living spaces feature the Augusto sofa, Louisa side tables, Monk armchairs by Tobia Scarpa, the Aria desk, Janet chair, and the Hector bookcase, all contributing to the interior display.

The bedroom area includes the Theo bed by Yabu Pushelberg, accompanied by Fonte and Lèa side tables, the D.154.2 armchair by Gio Ponti, the Picea side table, and the Gliss Master System with Bamboo Door. The showroom also features the Gliss Master walk-in wardrobe system by Vincent Van Duysen, incorporating built-in niches with Meridian glass doors.

The visitor experience concludes with the Outdoor Collection, showcasing the Soleva sofas introduced in the 2026 Collection by Vincent Van Duysen, together with the Louisa coffee table, Pannacotta side table, D.150.5 armchair by Gio Ponti, Picea side table, and the Arc table by Foster + Partners, paired with Chelsea chairs designed by Dordoni Studio.

The Lyon opening marks another addition to Molteni&C's international retail network as the company continues its planned expansion across key global markets.
