Mizuda Selects Centric PLM to Strengthen Customer-Centric Product Development

Textile printing and dyeing manufacturer adopts Centric PLM to streamline R&D, improve collaboration and connect product development with market demand
Zhejiang Mizuda Textile Printing & Dyeing Co., Ltd. (Mizuda) has selected Centric PLM™ from Centric Software® to support the development of a customer-centric innovation framework. The implementation is intended to enhance R&D processes by connecting customer requirements, product development and manufacturing through a unified digital platform.
Centric Software® has announced that Zhejiang Mizuda Textile Printing & Dyeing Co., Ltd. (Mizuda) has selected Centric PLM™ to establish a customer-centric innovation framework. Centric Software provides AI-powered enterprise solutions that support product planning, design, development, sourcing, compliance, manufacturing, merchandising and retail operations across multiple industries.
With more than 30 years of operations, Mizuda has developed manufacturing capabilities in China's textile printing and dyeing industry. Based in Huzhou, Zhejiang, the company integrates research and development, large-scale production and global sales, offering a portfolio that includes corduroy, khaki, linen, multi-fiber, printed, dyed and functional fabrics. The company has an annual production capacity of 100 million meters and supplies apparel brands and customers in more than 60 countries.
According to the company, the increasing volume and complexity of product information, process data and customer requirements highlighted the need for a more integrated R&D platform. While previous operational improvements enhanced other business functions, R&D continued to rely on fragmented systems and workflows, limiting visibility and collaboration across the product lifecycle.
Mizuda selected a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform to support the integration of customer demand, product development and manufacturing execution while creating a more customer-focused R&D process.
“The data fragmentation we experienced made it clear that R&D transformation requires far more than a ready-made solution,” shares Long Fangsheng, General Manager of Mizuda. “We required a partner who participates deeply in business process transformation spanning the system lifecycle.”
During the evaluation process, the company assessed solutions based on their ability to support textile R&D, preserve technical expertise, enable continuous process improvement and support long-term business growth.
“Centric PLM’s industry expertise, functional depth and technical capabilities precisely match Mizuda’s strategic requirements. This alignment is why we chose Centric Software as our partner for this project,” explains Long.
The implementation will focus on developing a customer-centric digital R&D system that connects product development workflows, improves cross-functional collaboration and increases traceability from market insight to production. Mizuda will also use Centric PLM to standardize go-to-market preparation, build reusable customer-focused product data assets and support a more iterative product lifecycle.
“Mizuda is committed to a long-term vision of aligning quality standards,” adds Long. “With Centric PLM, we aim to create a unified digital thread that links product innovation, multi-level production planning and continuous lifecycle improvement.”
“This project will link trend research, design, manufacturing and service in one integrated data chain,” Long continues. “It will inject strong momentum into Mizuda’s high-quality development and support our next stage of digital and intelligent transformation.”
The implementation project includes phased planning, key milestones and risk management to support system development, testing and deployment.
“Mizuda brings the professionalism, dedication and innovation mindset needed to turn digital transformation into measurable business value,” says Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software. “We are proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer at the forefront of intelligent transformation in China’s printing and dyeing industry and look forward to supporting a successful Centric PLM implementation.”
