Ministry of Textiles Reopens PLI Scheme Portal for New Applications from November 1, 2026

Under Round 4, the minimum turnover requirement for Part 2 has been reduced from ₹200 crore to ₹100 crore, while eligible applicants will receive an extended scheme tenure up to FY 2033–34.
The Ministry of Textiles will reopen the application portal for the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles from November 1 to December 31, 2026, to accept new applications under Round 4.
The initiative aims to promote the manufacturing of Man-Made Fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles, while enhancing domestic manufacturing capabilities, attracting investment, generating employment and strengthening India's position in global textile value chains.
Key Changes Under Round 4 of the PLI Scheme
The Ministry has introduced three key modifications to facilitate wider participation in the scheme.
1. Minimum Turnover Requirement Reduced to ₹100 Crore
The minimum turnover requirement under Part 2 of the scheme has been reduced from ₹200 crore to ₹100 crore.
The revised criterion is intended to enable greater participation from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and mid-sized manufacturing units.
2. Scheme Tenure Extended up to FY 2033–34
The scheme tenure has been extended up to Financial Year 2033–34 exclusively for applicants approved under Round 4.
The extended period is intended to provide these applicants with a longer investment and operational horizon to establish and scale up their manufacturing capacities.
3. Migration Option for Existing Participants
Companies participating in Rounds 1, 2 and 3, under any part of the scheme, will also be eligible to migrate to Round 4, provided they have not claimed or received any incentive so far.
Such companies must withdraw their existing applications under the applicable earlier rounds before migrating to Round 4.
Application Window and Portal
The online application portal will remain open from November 1 to December 31, 2026. Eligible companies are encouraged to submit their applications within the stipulated period in accordance with the applicable scheme guidelines.
