  • What is your core motivation as a founder and entrepreneur?

At its core, entrepreneurship has always been my way of exploring personal curiosity, turning interests into systems that solve real-world problems. That’s what continues to drive me.

With Brego Business, that means backing entrepreneurs who are building the world around us, helping them scale, solve problems, and stay focused on the frontline while we handle the backend.

With Brego Land, it’s about making something deeply personal- land ownership- accessible to more Indians in a structured and meaningful way.

Of course, financial success matters. But for me, business has always been more like a game I enjoy playing, money is just the score. What really keeps me going is building things that make people’s lives better, and doing it with people I believe in.

  • Can you share the story and inspiration behind founding Brego Land?

The idea for Brego Land comes from childhood- growing up on a farm, being close to animals, learning about trees, community, and the simplicity of nature. That kind of upbringing felt like a privilege, and I wanted to build a company that could make that kind of life more possible for others too.

When I sold a parcel of land during the pandemic to fund my wedding, I saw first-hand how messy, opaque, and unstructured land buying can be in India. That moment was a trigger. What if we could fix that? What if we could create a product that made buying land simple, trustworthy, and purposeful?

That’s how Brego Land was born- with the goal of making land ownership both emotionally meaningful and financially viable for more people.

  • What makes Brego Land different from traditional real estate ventures?

Brego Land isn't trying to reinvent real estate- we’re trying to bring structure and simplicity to land.

Unlike most real estate firms that lead with a ready project or fixed inventory, we start with the land itself. That gives us the flexibility to work across use-cases: from retail buyers looking for second homes, to HNIs, family offices, and developers assembling land banks.

Our real difference lies in our approach. We don’t just sell plots- we partner with people to help them become landowners in a way that matches their purpose, whether that's investment, lifestyle, or legacy. It’s not “buy my project,” it’s “let’s find land that works for you.”

  • What was the core motivation behind starting Brego Business and how has the initial vision evolved?

I started my career selling accounting services at Themis, and that’s where I fell in love with entrepreneurship. I was working with founders every day- watching them struggle, build, and scale. Eventually, I acquired Themis and merged it into what became Brego Business.

The core idea was simple: founders are building the world around us, but they’re doing it without enough real support. We wanted to be the team behind their team- solving finance, marketing, and operations so they could stay focused on growth.

Over the years, Brego Business has evolved into a full-stack execution company, running finance and marketing for 1000+ businesses, from D2C brands and legacy family businesses to fast-growing startups. We don’t consult, we build, run, and grow with our clients.

  • How has Brego Business gained the trust of SME's and helped them grow?

We began with startups, but quickly realised SMEs were a massive and underserved opportunity. There’s a myth that SMEs don’t pay for services, but that’s simply not true. They’re hungry for partners who can deliver value, clarity, and execution.

We earned their trust by doing the work. We didn’t overpromise. We priced fairly. And we let our delivery speak. One client turned into three, then ten, and the momentum continued. Today, many of our best clients are SMEs who came through referrals or word-of-mouth, and stayed because of results.

  • How would you describe your leadership style, and how has it shaped your team’s culture?

I’d describe my style as open and aggressive. Open in the sense that we run a flat organisation where people, regardless of title or tenure, have access to what’s happening and can contribute meaningfully. Aggressive in the sense that if you want to grow fast, take ownership, and drive impact, Brego is the platform to do it.

I’ve worked in companies that stifle people, and I’ve seen what that does. So we’ve built a culture that gives room for exploration, but also demands accountability. You have freedom here, but you also have to earn your place by showing up and pushing boundaries.

  • What’s next for you?

Both Brego Land and Brego Business are in a scale-up phase, but in different ways.

For Brego Land, the next step is expanding our plotted development vertical, aggregating larger parcels at better price points, and building scalable formats across micro-markets in Maharashtra. We’ll also start preparing for expansion beyond the state, with an eye on long-term land value creation.

For Brego Business, we’re focused on building out our sales, marketing, and technology functions. We’ve nailed operations and delivery, now it’s time to scale. Embedding AI into how we interact with clients and run our workflows is a big part of that vision.

We’re still in the thick of company-building. That’s what excites me the most.
