METSTO Expands Warehouse Storage Systems with Advanced Racking Solutions

New racking options target space utilisation, accessibility and storage requirements across industrial operations

METSTO, short for Metal Storage Systems, has expanded its warehouse storage systems portfolio with additional racking solutions designed for different storage configurations and operational requirements across Indian warehouses.

The expanded range includes selective pallet racking, drive-in racking, push-back racking and multi-tier shelving. Each system is suited to different inventory volumes, product varieties and access requirements.

Racking Solutions for Different Storage Needs

Selective pallet racking is designed for operations handling a wide range of products that require regular access to individual SKUs. Drive-in racking is suited to bulk storage of the same products where high storage density is required and product rotation is less of a priority.

Push-back racking provides a higher-density storage option while offering a different inventory-flow configuration from drive-in systems. Multi-tier shelving provides additional levels for storage where available vertical space needs to be utilised.

According to the company, its racking systems are manufactured using high-tensile steel and undergo checks before dispatch. Installation is carried out by METSTO's installation teams.

METSTO's approach begins with an assessment of the warehouse rather than selecting a system solely from a product catalogue. The company evaluates the available floor layout, the materials being stored and how products move through the facility before determining the appropriate racking configuration.
