Messe Frankfurt Announces Val:ue Milan Textile Hub for 2027

Val:ue Milan is positioned as a curated business hub focusing on selected fabrics and accessories for apparel. The format departs from traditional trade fair structures, with participation limited to selected manufacturers, brands, and industry professionals operating in the premium segment. The concept is designed to facilitate targeted networking and business interactions.
The event will be hosted in Milan, a key location for design, manufacturing, and fashion. The platform aims to connect international manufacturers with buyers and decision-makers in the European market, supporting sourcing and collaboration within the high-end textile segment.
Val:ue Milan will present a range of textile solutions, including fabrics, accessories, and specialised materials. The event will bring together producers, designers, and product managers to engage in sourcing and partnership development within a controlled and curated environment.
“Milan is the crossroads where fashion excellence meets industrial expertise and major international brands,” says Donald Wich, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Italia. “With Val:ue Milan, we are creating a project that brings these strengths together while opening them to an international dimension – a platform designed to connect selected suppliers from the world’s leading sourcing regions with the European market. The aim is to establish a distinctive hub in Milan for high-end procurement, capable of engaging with existing industry players through a distinctive identity and a profile of excellence”.
“With the launch of Val:ue Milan, we are strategically expanding the reach of our global Texpertise network,” states Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt. “Milan offers an unparalleled stage where a deep-rooted culture of design meets international prestige, making it the natural setting for this new format. This boutique-style business hub sets a new benchmark within our portfolio, reflecting our long-term vision to strengthen our presence in key fashion capitals through a highly differentiated approach, delivering sophisticated, strategic solutions across the entire textile value chain”.
The name “Val:ue” reflects a focus on quality, material expertise, and long-term professional relationships. The platform is intended to bring together stakeholders involved in premium materials, transparent supply chains, and advanced textile design.
Val:ue Milan is part of Messe Frankfurt’s Texpertise network, which includes more than 60 textile trade fairs across 14 countries and connects over 500,000 industry participants worldwide.
