MarediModa Cannes 2026 to Host InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. Exhibition on Fashion Transparency

The exhibition will present the Decalogue of Values, highlighting ten parameters related to ethics, traceability, environmental impact, production and other aspects of fashion supply chains.

MarediModa Cannes 2026 will host the InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. – Trust is the New Luxury exhibition from 27 to 29 October at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. The initiative focuses on transparency, traceability and the measurable values behind fashion products, encouraging greater awareness of the processes and supply chains involved in garment production.

InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. Brings Fashion Supply Chain Values to Cannes

MarediModa, the international trade fair presenting fabric and accessory collections for beachwear, underwear and athleisure, will feature the InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. – Trust is the New Luxury exhibition during its 2026 edition. The event brings together companies, manufacturers, designers and international supply chain professionals to discuss research, innovation, product development and business opportunities.

The InsideOut project highlights the information and processes behind fashion products that may not be immediately visible to consumers. While aesthetics, performance, design and feel influence how a product is perceived, the initiative focuses on the additional information that can help establish its origin, production journey and measurable values.

The concept centres on integrated quality, considering both the finished product and the processes involved in its creation. It aims to increase consumer awareness of fashion supply chains and connect consumers with organisations able to document a garment's journey from raw materials to the finished product.

MarediModa provides a platform for this initiative by bringing together businesses and professionals involved in determining the quality and values of fashion products. The exhibition will address how information about a product's less visible characteristics can be communicated more clearly.

Decalogue of Values Covers Ten Parameters

InsideOut has developed a Decalogue of Values comprising ten parameters designed to make the values associated with fashion products more recognisable:

  • Ethics
  • Social Initiatives
  • Traceability and Transparency
  • Environment
  • Health
  • Circular Economy Initiatives
  • Design
  • Ingredients
  • Production
  • Dyeing and Finishing

The ten parameters are represented by icons created by artist Gianluca Cannizzo, which form the central element of the exhibition at MarediModa.

Discussion on Trust and Integrated Quality in Fashion

The exhibition marks another step in the development of InsideOut, which has presented its Decalogue of Values at events, meetings and initiatives focused on fashion, sustainability and innovation.

On Tuesday, 27 October, at 3:00 p.m., Giusy Bettoni, CEO of C.L.A.S.S., and David Shah, owner of Metropolitan Publishing BV, which publishes magazines such as Textile View and VIEWPOINT, and director of DRS Consultancy, will participate in a discussion titled “Trust is the New Luxury.”

The session, intended for media representatives and visitors, will examine the relationship between transparency, demonstrable values and trust. It will also explore how visible and less visible product attributes contribute to a broader understanding of integrated quality in fashion.

MarediModa and C.L.A.S.S. Address Supply Chain Transparency

Franco Taiana, General Manager of MarediModa, commented:

“Hosting the InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. – Trust is the New Luxury exhibition is an opportunity to introduce the project and its Decalogue and to explore supply chain transparency and the need to make the information accompanying fashion products more accessible.”

Giusy Bettoni added:

“The choice of MarediModa is particularly significant because it brings our campaign directly to one of the international events where the supply chain comes together and presents its collections and expertise. Fabrics, accessories, design studios and production thus become the natural setting for opening a discussion on what defines a product beyond its aesthetic dimension: where it comes from, how it is made, which processes are involved and which values can be understood, verified and communicated.”

The exhibition will form part of MarediModa's 2026 programme, bringing supply chain transparency and the communication of product values into discussions among fashion industry professionals.
